5.Future of IPTV and Tech Evolution
5G networks, integrated with millions of IoT devices, have stirred IPTV transformation with the introduction of AI and machine learning. Cloud computing is strongly supporting AI systems to unlock novel functionalities. Proprietary AI recommendation systems are gaining traction by streaming services to engage viewers with their own advantages. The video industry has been transformed with a fresh wave of innovation.
A larger video bitrate, by increasing resolution and frame rate, has been a key goal in boosting audience satisfaction and attracting subscribers. The advancements in recent years were driven by new standards established by industry stakeholders.
Several proprietary software stacks with a reduced complexity are close to deployment. In the near future, as technological enthusiasm creates a uniform market landscape in user experience and industry growth levels out, we anticipate a focus shift towards service-driven technology to keep older audiences interested.
